Description: 

In this training, Dr. Everly addresses two areas of crisis response (taking care of personal mental health needs and addressing the mental health needs of others) and concludes with an examination of the mental health threat posed by terrorism.

  • Describe the various factors that can affect personal psychological well-being and provides coping tools
  • Provide a basic definition of psychological first aid, explains when and why it’s needed, and gives a basic explanation of how to provide psychological first aid
  • Discuss the motivations and ideals behind terrorists and terror movements
